Setting Sail
Dear Reader,
It’s 7:56am here. I really don’t know where to start.
I’m unsure where I am going or what to do, but I feel this call to write to you…for you.
2025 has been anything but easy.
The numerological frequency of the year is 9, which is expressive of endings and new beginnings of all kinds.
On top of this, I am currently in my 36th year of life - also carrying the frequency of 9.
In short, this is a doubling-down year for me.
I’m on the precipice of this new version of reality, of my own new expression, and I’m trying not to get wrapped up in expectation.
I am 17 days sober today.
It’s been challenging, especially in social settings where I usually find comfort in ethanol to carry me through my insecurities and social awkwardness.
It’s uncomfortable but strengthening for me to be me and present - all the time, no matter what.
What’s more, I went back to church. I never thought I would, but I felt the call a little over a month ago and haven’t felt more nourished.
There has been a long-standing stalemate between “New Age” teachings and Christian scripture, and I am curious how to clarify and bridge this ever-so-large gap.
I am not a renowned academic, not even close, but there is so much negative clickbait-y content out there that is not healthy for either side that I feel called to add to the conversation.
I will be sharing parts of my personal transformation and whatever spiritual bread Christ finds nourishing to share.
I pray you are well and sending all love and protection your way.
Your friend,
Mia
